Exhibition: Mat Chivers, Sculpture & Drawings
A selection of sculpture and drawings by this prominent Devon based artist whose recent group exhibitions have included shows at the Venice Biennale and the Courtauld Institute of Arts.
This Thelma Hulbert Gallery exhibition highlights the diversity in Mat’s work which looks at processes of change through unique combinations of traditional and technological materials.
This exhibition marks a return to the THG after first exhibiting here in a group show in 2004. This solo exhibition coincides with the unveiling of his site specific work in response to the coastline of the National Trust Estate at Purbeck to be exhibited in Dorset as part of the Cultural Olympiad 2012.
Admission is FREE, but any donations will help to fund future exhibitions and workshops at the gallery.

Exhibition: Queen's Diamond Jubilee Competition
An exhibition of sculpture designs by young people from East Devon
The entries for East Devon District Council's Queens Jubilee Art Competition to design a sculpture commemorating the event will be on display in the THG Project Space during the Mat Chivers exhibition.
